You stay in control
When more than one rule applies, Crevan follows the more cautious setting. Ask first overrides Automatic, and trusted-source exclusions always prevent action.
With the current settings, an unfamiliar reupload is held for review and a trusted-source match is excluded from protection action. Automatic handling only applies when every relevant rule permits it.
Agency defaults
These rules can be applied to creators unless they have their own custom settings.
Confirmed reuploads
Automatic
Applied to the recent CP-104 reupload for Maya Hart using the creator's custom Automatic setting.
When content already confirmed as unauthorised appears again on a known piracy source, Crevan can handle it using the existing case rules.
Known piracy sources
Automatic
Previously confirmed content found on a recognised piracy source can move forward without another manual approval.
Unknown websites
Ask first
Potential copies on unfamiliar websites are held for agency review before any action is taken.
Trusted sources
Never report
Approved websites and partners are excluded from protection actions.
